Maddy's Poem

Slow breeze in the night and cold
Some things she said out of fear that was bold
He held her hand, in the dark, she was sold
Smiled at her, scared she was, but atleast someone to hold

He took her, under the stars
Saved her, from her inside wars
He walked with her through several doors
Told her ” the world could be really yours”

He said “men’s are fighting for you on this earth”
Unaware she was, for what she is worth
Holding her life back, maintaing her girth
Accepted to live with a bad fate, since her birth

No one knew her stories, but here he was
Hinding her tears, with fun wit and applause

Standing across the wall, he watched her cry
Saw her every night, no he was not a spy
Something in her, knew no one, but caught his eye
Someone so beautiful, in so much pain, why?

He finally took her one fine day
Grabed her hand, making a way
She was leaving next day, he told her to stay
“Would like you to show the world if you may”
Her fate was playing a little game itself that day.

The breeze the stars the moon and the cold sky
Witnesses of her thoughts, slowly building and watching them die
The struggle in her mind, trembling her hands, beating her heart, the wandering soul
For what she was waiting and feeling un-whole

The slow wind and the sharp warm rays
rise of sun in cold old days
Left alone in dense strange woods, the night was hard with no full moon
Path she tried, listening the gentle unheard tune
Watched each steps, as walk past the sandy dune

leisurely walking through the unknown
Wrapped around emotions, how she is grown
Cracking her voice to be heard in boisterous heaven
The dejected face, the tierd feet, she walked with the luck un-seven

The fading marks of her existing scars
The thorns that cut deep under the stars
Living in memory of one’s rusty past
Wondering till when her walk is going to last.

The demon is back to trade another soul
He has a sack, blood in bowl
Humans he possesed are in hides
He is waiting for me wrapped in tides

It is not a dream, this time for sure
His eyes are hungry, he wants more
People i love are out there in dark
They are in danger, cause i m his mark

He is playing the game he adore
Hide and seek so he never gets bore
Suddenly, he picked soul to trade
Shivers cold body ,now i m afraid

He took, what was mine
I know it was him, he left that sign
I know the pain, no one can feel
Demon on other side, wanted a deal

So i gave him one,
He took my soul over yours
While i m gone,

Love, look for cures

The one with whom she talked for hours
The one who’s love showers
His glance was rythym for her heart
Especially when he looked at her at the start

Everything was great, until it wasn’t one day
Things she had, he took that away
Everyone asked, but she won’t say
The crime he did, and now she has to pay

She weeped her tears, with grace again
Stood up, she, never to face pain
Alone she stands, like a bird in rain
Along her stands another man,
little did they knew it was a start of their reign

They fell in love, like sun and shadow
Love grew, like plant under tree by the medow
But, what if it was great but shallow
Her heart starts to panic, as if she took another arrow

She started to juggle things,
Checking everything is attached, well this time to the strings
That’s how miserable her life has been
She is afraid for another spin

This is what she is

And she worries if she forever she stays, his

The shadows merged as they walked
Who would believe, they haven’t even talked
Thanks to the sun, rooting for them
Playing with the shadows, but not with them

Their shadows was circling, around them
Holding hands not really, but deep down the stem

Confused as he walked,
His heart stopped, love on his door was about to knock
saw his shadow behind him having a talk
Yet they were unknown to the lock

He was looking into her eyes in a mysterious way
Left with no Words nothing more to say
Later he pinged her with a simple, hey
With that , him and her started a new day

Feelings were consuming, the love they had
He confessed and she is glad

As the strong wind blew
They are in love, trees wispers, went through
Clouds never came, they all knew
Atleast For sun to shadows they will never block view

I swear to god I had a fever that day

where my tear drops
were finding ways to fall.
I held them
I knew they will fall
and that I was not ready for
I m still not ready, to let them .

in hope that it will get stuck somewhere with the hook, and so will I, with you.

Dear George stinney,

I didn’t know about you until my brother told me about your case or I should say execution.

I don’t know why but I want to say sorry. Sorry, that you had to go through this. I know my sorry doesn’t mean anything, it doesn’t do anything. But this is something i have to say and do, i was not able to stop my self but to write you a letter.

You were 14, my hands are shaking while I m writing this, They took only 10 minutes to come to the conclusion that you murderd those girls. They declared you guilty within 10 minutes!.

They decided in just 10 minutes that you were worthy of that inhuman chair, and this breaks my heart into million pieces.

I saw your picture, and i cried, i saw that bible in your pure hands while you were going to that execution room.

They used your bible that holy book to uplift you to make you fit in that chair. This proves that even god was under your feet because of that judgement.

The mask that you had was not for your pristine face, your teary eyes didn’t even once shaked the heart of executioner, i wonder how?.

I m sorry that no one stood for you, i m sorry.

But, you will always be a life long regret to humanity and more.
