when that song played
you both looked at each other..
and smiled..
she liked singing a lot, but she had this belief that she is not good enough. There were very few moments where she was comfortable singing, in front of few people. she enjoys every ups and downs of the song while singing, closing her eyes , mesmerized by her own voice while trying catch the tune of the song.
That day she was singing in the class. As she started there was commotion in the class. she thought no one will listen her. she closed her eyes, started singing, suddenly there was stillness around.
She forgot the lyrics, she opened her eyes. Realizing that people were listening to her.
Everyone gave gratifying reaction, she never knew that people will appreciate her voice. she blushed with a nodding head in thanking manner. That reaction made her day.
That night she was on her bed lifting her legs against the wall. Thinking about the responses she got, with a big smile on her face. Suddenly, her phone a flashed message, it was from a guy. The message was some lyrics of the song with a wink emoji at last. She knew what it was regarding ( ‘It was the lyrics she forgot while singing’). She replied thanks with a blushing monkey emoji.
And that text made her night.
Next day in lunch, someone played that same song.
The lyrics came.. those she forgot the previous day.
Him and her they both looked at each other and smiled.
